This large Ginko leaf pendant is double sided, with swirls on the reverse. It is glazed front and back, and can be worn with either side out, depending on your preference. The Swarovski glass beads are iridescent. The chain was also handmade by me, including the bail and clasp. This pendant can be removed from the chain so you may wear the pendant with other chains, the chain by itself, or the chain with another pendant.
This statement necklace was made by me in my studio. Beginning with raw clay, the focal bead was formed, dried slowly, fired in a kiln to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit, dipped in glaze, and then fired again to over 2300 degrees Fahrenheit. The glass beads were purchased, but I created the clasp and links for the chain. The wire is hematite - it's in the silver family, but darker. The pendant is 45 mm, or around 1.75 inches, long and 55 mm, or around 2.25 inches, wide. The necklace weighs 46 grams. An average fork weighs 35 grams, and a Sharpie marker weighs 9 grams if you need a reference.
