This listing is for a bracelet bead that you see in the images. It is already made and ready to be shipped from the US! The bracelet bead has a slight curve to it, which you can easily see in the image.
These beads are created by me in my studio, first with porcelain clay, which is formed and dried. After drying any hard edges are cleaned with a sponge and dental tool. They are first fired in the kiln to around 1900 degrees F. Then they are dipped in glaze, dried, and fired again, this time to ~2300 F.
The bead is glazed on the front and back. The last image, after the coin image for scale, is the back of the bead. There are always some dimples on the back, because the glaze must touch somewhere, and it becomes melted like glue when it is hot. I file these spots down, as they can be quite sharp.
