This listing is for the button that you see in the images. It is already made and ready to be shipped from the US!
This button was created in my studio, first with stoneware clay, which is formed and dried. After drying any hard edges are cleaned with a sponge and dental tool. They are first fired in the kiln to around 1900 degrees F. Then they are dipped in glaze, dried, and fired again, this time to ~2300 F.
The beads are glazed on the front and back. The last image, after the coin image for scale, is the back of the bead - though both beads may be displayed from any side. There are always some dimples on the back, because the glaze must touch somewhere, and it becomes melted like glue when it is hot. I file these spots down, as they can be quite sharp.
